Positive Women’s Network is active on Twitter and Facebook, benefitting all the people we support. Social networking helps us connect with organizations and individuals so we can improve on support and referrals for HIV+ women. We find and share resources across the world. We participate in online communities and discussions. Shrinking healthcare dollars mean less opportunity for participation at out of town conferences, and social networking is helping to build and maintain strong communities.
To facilitate even better connections across Canada and the World, we’ve searched and developed a list of hashtags for Twitter use so our communities can find what they’re looking for.
Like all social networking, this is a work in progress! Please contact Communications Coordinator Janet Madsen with any suggestions you have for additions so everyone can benefit. Thanks to all our wonderful “tweeps” (that’s Twitter friends for the uninitiated) we connect with every day.
